A content outline is very helpful especially when getting into production of my project. 

Opening:

(nice music) Talk about how vital communication between nurses is very important in this field. New topics being discussed in my field.

2 major forms of communication: Journals and online interactive sources like twitter and linkedin.

Body:

1. Journals: The most common form of communication within the nursing field.  Written words are the most common; however, most of these journals are most easily accessed online.

• Jane Carrington and her articles and research. Nursing Administration Quarterly Journal.
• Sharon Hom and her articles.

Purpose: The publications from both of these authors are informative piece regarding topics each has a specific interest in. For example, Dr. Carrington writes about nursing informatics (her area of interest). U of A is very supportive with research in the nursing field. The main purpose in research and journals is to research topics the author is very interested in.  The research support facilitates this idea to research and journal about subjects the student or professors are interested in.

Credibility: Building up their resumes to become credible sources.

     2) Social Media: A more modern form of communication.

• Not all professionals find them helpful

Purpose: reaching younger audiences and interacting with others

Credibility: the persona professionals display
